This class will meet over two semesters. Each semester covers different material. You can sign up for one or both.
First Semester: September 1st – December 14th
Second Semester: January 5th – April 20th
(One week will be canceled for Spring Break.)

Class Overview:
This class will meet once a week for 15 weeks each semester. We will use Answers Bible Curriculum, specifically focusing on Year 2, Moses through Hosea. The curriculum follows a chronological approach to Scripture, helping students understand how God worked through His people and revealed His plan of redemption.
Curriculum Structure:
While all students will explore the same Bible stories and themes, the curriculum is tailored to meet the developmental needs of different age groups. Each group: Kindergarten–1st Grade, 2nd–3rd Grade, and 4th–5th Grade, will engage in age-appropriate activities and discussions to deepen their understanding.
Parent Responsibility – Curriculum Purchase
Parents are responsible for purchasing the appropriate Answers Bible Curriculum Year 2 student book for their child’s age group.
Copies will not be provided in class.
Please be sure your child brings their book to class each week.
Semester Breakdown:
Fall Semester: Moses through Joshua
Students will learn:
God’s deliverance of Israel from Egypt
The life of Moses and God’s covenant with His people
The Ten Commandments and God’s law
God’s provision in the wilderness
The importance of obedience and trust in God
Joshua and the Israelites entering the Promised Land
God’s faithfulness in keeping His promises
Spring Semester: Judges through Hosea
Students will learn:
The cycle of sin and deliverance during the time of the Judges
God’s patience and mercy toward His people
The rise of Israel’s kings, including Saul, David, and Solomon
The division of the kingdom and Israel’s disobedience
The role of prophets in calling God’s people back to Him
Hosea’s message of repentance, judgment, and God’s faithful love
God’s promise of restoration
This program helps students not only learn Bible stories but also see how Scripture fits together as one big story pointing to Jesus. Through engaging lessons and activities, children will grow in their understanding of God’s character, His plan for humanity, and their place in His story.
