Curriculum: The Good and the Beautiful
Days and Times: January 6th - February 12th
Tuesdays: 11:30 - 12:30 (K-3rd)
Thursdays: 10:15 - 11:15 (1st - 4th)
Any classes that need to be made up as a group due to the instructor’s illness or snow days will be added to the end of the semester.
Cost: $153.75- Includes all materials

Course Overview:
In the Safety Science unit, students will learn essential life skills to help them stay safe in a variety of situations. Through engaging lessons and hands-on activities, we’ll cover important topics including fire safety, water safety, electrical safety, natural disaster preparedness, and kitchen safety. Students will also learn about personal body safety, what to do when staying home alone, and how to navigate technology, media, and peer pressure safely. We'll finish with an age-appropriate discussion on gun safety. This unit is designed to build confidence and awareness, making sure no important safety knowledge slips through the cracks.
