In this Weather and Water unit, students will get hands-on with the science of our skies. From learning about the water cycle to understanding how storms actually form, they will learn the 'how' and 'why' of weather into an active, collaborative experience.

Topics Covered

Students will explore:

  • The Basics: Understanding different climates, seasons, and how water shapes our planet.

  • The Atmosphere: Discovering the "invisible" forces of air and wind.

  • The Water Cycle: Tracking water as it moves from the ground to the sky and back again.

  • Storms: Learning the science behind clouds, lightning, thunder, and even tropical cyclones.

  • Forecasting: Building the skills to interpret and predict the weather just like a professional meteorologist!

Registration:  If you are associated with a homeschool program and would like me to directly bill the school, please put your homeschool in the PROMO code section of registration (the homeschool will be all one word, no spaces, and no characters). I will follow up with another email with the appropriate form. If you need to, you are more than welcome to email Matsulearnandisnpire@gmail.com to register.

I am a direct bill vendor with the following homeschool programs: Mat-Su Central, IDEA, CyberLynx, Raven, Twindly Bridge, and Totem.
